FIDELE moved up steadily, saved ground in the stretch and closed gamely. RAFFLES CHANCE closed willingly in the last quarter. APPELLANT and ALTUS NUBA tired after showing early speed. IRISH SPHERE began fast, but lacked speed to hold his position. RUBY STONE and KITTLE quit badly.
