SCHUYLERVILLE STAKES FIELD Wise Daughter Must Carry Seven Pounds Over Scale in Spa Filly Stake Feature. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 9. Juvenile fillies will race five and a half furlongs for a guarantee of ,000 in the Schuylerville Stakes, the feature of the Saratoga Association program, Thursday. Fifteen were named for the race and Frederick Burtons Wise Daughter, winner of the Saratoga Sales Stakes over Black Buddy, has penalties that put her at the top under an impost of 126 pounds. This is seven pounds over the scale, but the daughter of Wise Counsellor is at the peak of her form and over such a distance she is calculated to give away considerable weight to most of the fillies in training. Mrs. John Hay Whitneys Blue for Boys, and the Wheatley Stables Slapdash, each have penalties that bring their impost to 122 pounds, and the others scale down to 109 pounds carried by the maidens. Warren Wright is represented in the field by Some Pomp, a good daughter of Pompey and Some More, which attracted attention at Arlington Park. Then another from Arlington Park is Contessa, which will bear the silks of Mrs. John Hertz. Barkantine and Rhythmic are a pair named from the Green-tree Stable, and Mayaca is n stablemate of Slapdash. American Air and Polly Egret are two others that will race as an entry, the first named bearing the silks of Willis Sharpe Kilmer, while Polly Egret will carry Mrs. W. S. Kilmers colors. C. V. Whitney is represented by Jabot, a daughter of Sickle and Frilette, and Joseph E. Widener has also named a daughter of Sickle in Sickle Pear. Proud Girl, the Samuel D. Riddle nominee, has been working exceedingly well, and the other two named to perform are Mrs. William Ziegler, Jr.s Trillium and Lofty Lady, maiden that will go to the post for the Coldstream Stud Stable.
