TED CLARK GETS TOP WEIGHT Assigned 120 Pounds for ,000 Dallas Handicap Saturday at Arlington Downs. ARLINGTON, Texas, April 4 Ted Clark, holder of the one mile and one mile and a furlong Arlington Downs records, was assigned top weight of 120 pounds for Saturdays renewal of the ,000 added Dallas Handicap. The son of Chatterton will concede five pounds to the Eskay Stables Sweeping Light and five pounds to H. C. Rumages Our Count, which won the Fort Worth Handicap. Fourteen stars of the handicap ranks are eligible for the nine furlongs race, with the Southland Stables Play Hooky assigned the minimum impost of ninety-two pounds. Ted Clark had an unusual preparation this morning when he went a mile in 1:40. The Chatterton gelding was timed the half mile in :49 and the three-quarters in 1:14. The weights released by racing secretary Charles J. McLennan this morning are: Late Date, 114; Noahs Pride, 103; Glynson, 96; Sweeping Light, 118; Garden Message, 106; Bold Lover, 104; Hit and Run, 105; Sazerac, 109; Rip Van Winkle, 108; Ted Clark, 120; Chance Line, 110; Our Count, 115; Play Hooky, 92; Quatre Bras II., 109, and Wa- coche, 101.
