THE OLD PRETENDER SCORES Special Cablegram. EPSOM DOWNS, England, April 25. The Old Pretender, carrying the silks of James A. De Rothschild and 101 pounds, led home a field of nine rivals in the Kings Prize Handicap here today. Lord Hirsts Iron Grey, 117 pounds, was second, and B. Wran-ers Free Fare, 125 pounds, was third. It was a head finish between the first two, and they beat Free Fare two lengths. The owner of the winner received a new ,000 plate, presented in commemoration of King Georges silver jubilee, and also a 50 silver cup. Lord Derbys Robber Chief, the favorite, was withdrawn at the post when he slipped and threw his rider, R. Perryman.
