Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same: SURRY, well up all the way, responded to pressure in the final eighth and wore down DIXIE DORA in the final strides. The latter, placed outside the stalls for the start, came over steadily and had no chance to catclr the winner. HYMN, on the outside of the leaders all the way, was put to pressure in the final eighth, but hung at the end. KATHLEEN F., on the inside throughout, finished well. ROYAL CUNNING showed an even effort. DAME QUICKLY finished well. NALITA J. quit. FAIR DEAL faltered under urging. Scratched 10193 Sambo Jones, 108. Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. RHADAMANTHUS jumped well and, kept forwardly from the beginning, disposed of LOUIS DOR and drew away in the final eighth. LOUIS DOR jumped well throughout, showed speed and had no mishaps. TEAKWOOD was impeded slightly when STIR fell at the fourth fence, but failed to menace the leaders when called upon. BIT OF SORROW finished with good courage. ALLEN Z. finished well. BLACK GIFT broke from outside the stalls and showed a good turn of early speed. SIR BEVERLEY was outrun.
