RESERVING DADE PARK STALLS Leading Stables of Middle West Ask ! Accommodations for Meeting Opening on August 3. OWENSBORO, Ky., June 22.— Reservations for stables are being received daily at the Owensboro offices of the Dade Park Jockey Club for the twenty-six day summer meeting at Dade Park, which will have its inaugural on Saturday, August 3, and continue through Labor Day, September 2. The reservations for stalls are coming from some of the leading stables of the country. Never in the history of the track have the requests for reservations started so early, according to Lester Yeager, associate manager. Mr. Yeager said a number of improvements will be made at the Western Kentucky track, located between Henderson, Ky., and Evansville, Ind. The starting gate, used for the first time at Dade Park last year, will be continued, as will the public address system. Improvements will be made on the grandstand, including a new roof. The shipping of horses to Dade Park is expected to begin within the next few days, according to trainers, who are making reservations, a number of stables coming from Canadian, Detroit, Illinois and Kentucky tracks.
