LAT0NIA TURF NOTES $ 4 With Joe Renick on the ground for rough riding in the Illinois Derby at Aurora Friday. Trainer William Hurley engaged Harry Louman to pilot E. R. Bradleys Bow and Arrow in the Derby. Hearty fifty, full fledged jockeys and ap- prentices have signified their intention to ride during the Latonia meeting of thirty-seven days. Among them is Charles Stevenson, under contract to Dixiana, who last year led the American riding list. Cliff Huff-nagel, who has charge of the jockey quarters here, expects quite a number of additions before the meeting progresses far. Four two-year-olds comprise the stable iwhich A. G. Woodman brought here from Louisville.. They are Frontier, Egmont and Kings Highway, owned by G. F. Woodman, and Hairnao, owned by Mrs. A. G. Woodman. Mature and Gold Meter are the only two horses which B. F. Clark is training at this time, although he hopes to make several additions to his stable before the end of the current meeting. Rushaway, winner of the Louisiana Derby and victor Friday in the Illinois Derby, shipped in excellent style in his flying trip here for his engagement this afternoon in the Latonia Derby.
