DETROIT TURF NOTES j Jockey William Obert, the oldest rider on the American turf, is here with Richard Johnsons Overlook Farm Stable. Obert rode at the old Highland Park track here thirty years ago and rode his first winner astride Polly Prim at the St. Louis Worlds Fair meeting in 1904. Obert was astride Western Run in the second race and Bungalow in the seventy Monday. Johnny Conway checked in from Beulah Park with Pawn Ticket and Mario. Eddie Seremba arrived from Aurora with Guy Maxwell and Lofty Lady and Al Leider-man brought Polyphote and Maddening from the same track. George Neal, who unloaded Busy Spain and Sleepalong Sunday, is expecting several additions to his stable.
