1 NARRAGANSETTTURF NOTES I s — $ Eddie Flynn was at Gansett Saturday distributing registration blanks for horses for the Suffolk Downs meeting which starts May 15. Trainer Clarence Buxton came here Saturday to saddle Forty Eight in the Bristol . Handicap. Fred Witteman, whose horses are being campaigned here by Jack Webber, is recuperating from a recent illness at Miami, Fla. The good sprinter Natty Boy, having failed to respond to training, will be fired and turned out for a spell at Whitinsville, Mass., farm. B. A. Kane reports a filly foal at his See-konk, Mass., farm. The newcomer is from the mare Annarita and claims Rockminister as her sire. Ben F. Lister, Providence mill owner, who has gone into breeding on an extensive scale, reports the arrival of a colt foal from the mating of Grandace and My Date. Mr. Lister has several other foals in prospect at his Whitinsville, Mass., farm. A. S. Rowe is shipping to Detroit at the close of the present meeting.
