FILM LIFE OF JOCKEY JOCKEYINGLEWOOD INGLEWOOD Calif June 6 A motion picture short of a day in the life of a jockey is to be made at Hollywood Park soon ac ¬ cording to Bert Thompson secretary and field manager of the Jockeys Guild in Cali ¬ fornia who is collaborating in writing the script The picture is to be made by Metro GoldwynMayer and will be directed by Mervyn Le Roy an enthusiastic turf fancier and owner of a number of thoroughbreds thoroughbredsThe The picture will portray a jockeys daily routine from the time he awakens in the morning until he retires at night Jockeys George Woolf Lester Balaski Jack West rope and Billy Pearson have been selected as the central characters in the film shoot ¬ ing on which is to begin here within a week
