HBPA to Hold General Meeting Second Day of Convention ConventionSTICKNEY STICKNEY 111 May 25 The general meeting of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association will be held on the evening of the second day of the associa ¬ tions first annual convention scheduled to open here June 10 it was announced today by Monte Weil divisional vicepresident of the organization organizationThe The general session will be held at 2227 South FiftySecond Ave in Cicero which is within a short distance of the Hawthorne and Sportsmans Park tracks It will open at 8 p m and all members are urged to be present presentMaj Maj Thomas H McCreery president of the HBPA today advised officers of the midwesterri or central division that all members of the eastern executive commit ¬ tee composed of Harold Simmons Harold Young O L Foster John McDowell and James Vaughn will come here for the con ¬ vention They will reach Chicago June 9 and Major McCreery is arriving on the same day While herfe Majoi McCreerys headquarters will be in the Palmer House and several important committee meetings i will be held in the same hotel
