Apprentice Pratt Takes Leod In National Riding Standings PAWTUCKET, R. I.. April 25— Apprentice jockey Harry Pratt, who was born near the Narragansett race track, forged to the front in the national riding standings when he piloted 13 winners during the week of April 17 to 24, inclusive. Pratt, who is under contract to W. I. Lunt, has handled 79 victors since January 1 and is presently leading apprentice William Bailey and jockey Ted Atkinson. The Rhode Island lad recently handled four winners in one day at Narragansett and was up on three victorious mounts on Monday at the local oval. Pratt rode with good success at the Florida tracks during the winter season and also showed well at j the recent Oaklawn Park meeting m Hot jSpnngs.
