Beulah7s Victory Meet Condition Books Out Races for All Types of Horses Arranged by Secretary Bury COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 27. Condition books for the three-day "Victory meeting" of running races at Beulah Park Saturday and the following Monday and Tuesday, July 1, 3 and 4, made their appearance today. Drafted by racing secretary Eugene Bury, the book is certain to find favor with turfmen who will race their stables during the abbreviated meeting as it contains conditions for races for all types of horses, from the lowly plater to the handicap and stake performers, from the sprinters to the routers. Feature races arranged by Bury include: Saturday, July 1 Franklin County War Chest Handicap, six furlongs, purse ,000, for three-year-olds and upward; nominations close Thursday midnight. Allowance event for three-year-olds, six furlongs, purse 00. Monday, July 3 Allowance event for three-year-olds and upward, six furlongs, purse 00. Tuesday, July 4 The Independence Day Handicap, one mile and 70 yards, purse ,000, for three-year-olds and upward; nominations close Saturday midnight. Allowance event for three-year-olds and upward, six furlongs, purse 00. Some 125 horses arrived from Ascot Park Tuesday and the shipment included Lady Convention and Dubs Times, both likely starters in the War Chest Handicap Saturday. Horses also are being shipped to Grove City from Wheeling Downs, River Downs and Fairmount Park.
