Caillouette. completed riding double for George South and dusted off several other inconspicuous candidates for Saturdays Kentucky Derby in the six furlongs of the Bowman Field Purse this bleak afternoon at Churchill Downs. The Nashville. Tenn. -owned colt was the public preference in the old fashioned iron men and reported punctually to the judges two lengths in advance of Paragon Siables Bob Mann, who was nearest of his five rivals. Another length back and Lt.-Cmdr. T D. Buhls Crack Reward was a retreating third. Joes Choice carried his 113 pounds over the six furlongs of fast race track in the creditable time of 1:12% and won "looking for some more horses to beat".
