He had been beaten a nose on the post by Equi-fox j in his last previous endeavor, but found no such formidable opponent in the Woodland. Todays sport was not remarkable for r the class of the participants, but compensated with some spirited competition and several solidly backed winners. However, his challenge e also fell short of the mark and he had to content himself with the place. Zacapet, " quit in no small way, permitting Sigma a Kappa to pick him up and finish third.
