PRO MISS improved her position gradually, displaced BITLDER ia mid-stretch, then drew clear while being ridden out. BITI.DER assumed command when CAST OFF tired, opened a davlight advantage in the early stretch, but could not withstand the winner. FIRE LADDER, apparently best, was off poorly, worked his way between horses to the stretch, was taken up at that point and closed with a rush. MISS McLIKE closed some grdound in the closing drive. JENE SLAM showed nothing. MORGILS LAD Hashed speed. CAST OFF tired after settinz the pace for a half mile. FLEXICO stumbled at the break. Scratched— 72239 Johns Galla. 113. BURNING TWIG was allowed to take command early, drew clear on the turn, then lasted over RIAR RED. The latter raced on his own courage earl, moved up menacingly and was wearing down the winner despite being weakly handled. HAPPY Bit KIE assumed command earlv, was not punished when BURNING TWIG moved to the front and tired thereafter. KIMBERLEY failed to rally. MILESTONE diopped out «f contention alter a half mile. SATIN NOSE, steadied while well back earl . rallied only mildly under pressure. QUESTION MISS raced wide into the stietch. ARMY BKLLE set the pace to the stretch, then stopped badly when collared. TAGEL was a prominent factor from the start and tousht it out willingly. WISE ADVICE raced wide throughout RATION SCOTCH broke badly, but finished with a rush FREELANDS LAD tired.
