MISS TULLAHOMA was well placed from the beginning, went to the nside on the turn, responded to vigorous handling and was up near the end. HAVANA LAD had speed, drew out when roused in the stretch and then tired near the end. PRAETORIAN was slow to begin, raced wide to the stretch, went over on DOlG BRASHEAR while holding on and was disqualified and placed fourth. ALVAN was well placed from the beginning, moved up on the outside to take command approaching the stretch and diew out fast in the last quarter. MISS STAGE lacked speed, lallicd after a half mile and closed well, but could not threaten the winner. GOOD CHILD saved ground. LA MARIE tired after racing prominently to the stretch. SUNNY BETTY saved ground, but tired after a half mile. MAJOR BILL unseated his rider before the start, ran eff about a mile, showed speed for five eighths in the race and then gave vvav badly.
