Only Three to Oppose Zocopet at Churchill Smafl Fields Named for Eight Events on Todays Downs Card LOUISVILLE. Ky., June 11— With sport in its final week at Churchill Downs and with many stables shipping out other racing points, fields are small tomorrows eight-race program at Derby course. In fact, only four horses have been named for the Peewee Valley Purse, the six-furlong feature attraction. In this dash. Mrs. H. J. Damms Zacapet, Who has one sprint victory to his credit this reason, is opposed by such as J. Maggios Jesting Fox, F. P. Letelliers Topic and Dillard Chisms Bessie Vance. Zacapet went unplaced in his most recent assignment, finishing fourth when held at even money. However, in his previous endeavor he led practically all way and was an easy three lengths to good at the wire. If he breaks on top tomorrow, a repetition of that effort should be forthcoming. Topic has been beaten by slim margins in each of his last two races, on one occasion being "photographed" out by a and in the other dropping a head decision. This fellow is at top form and will take lot of beating. Jesting Fox came through with a performance last Wednesday, running sec-Odd to Roi Rouge, while Bessie Vance, faced the starter but once in 1944, scored in his third and last attempt this season. The Crystal Maid Purse, as the fifth is called, brings out five three-year-old fjlhes to test their speed over the five-, eighths distance. Alaport, who was up curing the running of the Debutante Stakes, may rule the favorite here as scored over a good field in her previous endeavor. Tetramore is back at the Downs following his defeat in the Joliet Stakes Hawthorne and will be a factor off his Winning efforts previous to his downfall. Others in the Crystal Maid, all winners, are Sunawana, Wee-Wee-Marie and Pene. the ne ns i to to . for the i,p i es i ! ey. m et, ; *** V. V.
