OlR BOSS, well plared on the outside from the start, was under strong handling through the stretch and was up in the concluding stride. PIKERS BID was perfectly rated while holding a slight alvantage, disposed of BOB OSCLLIYAN and just failed to last.- I CONQUER, on the extreme outside throughout, was carried very wide into the stretch, then closed with good speed. GOMBEEN MAN was shuffled back on the inside at the three and one half furlong pole, was moving well entering the stretch, where he raced wide, carrying I CONQUER with him. and Irani that point to the finish GOMBEEN MAN ducked to the inside and closed best of all. PINCKNEY showed little. BOB OSLLLIYAN was a forward factor early, loomed dangerous in the early stretch, then stopped badly. Overweight— Gombeen Man. 1 pound. Claimed — Our Boss by H. E. TRACE ME. hard ridden while forcing the early pace, made a move to the leader entering the stretch, then flattened out. FIRE LADDER, sluggi-h at the start, failed to rally enough to become a threat.
