CONNIES GIRL was steadied when outrun by HAPPY BUCKIE, moved around the latter to assume command, drew clear rapidly, then was under a drive to outfinish PFNTIN. The latter, always well placed, failed to rally until the last seventy yards, then came with a rush. RlSSARDO raced within stiiking distance from the start and closed with good courage. HAPPY BUCKIE was used up setting the pace for a halt. BIG THREE, off slowly and rushed into contention on the inside, tired gradually in the last three eighths. COURT BLENHEIM outran his field from the start, was challenged briefly bv CAESAR B. in the early stretch, but was easily the best. CAESAJI B. was well rated off the leader, loomed dangeious turning for home, but flattened out in the drive. WICKCI.IFFE GAL was held safe in the drive. CONRAD MANN failed to show his usual late speed. ALFRED STUART was taken up right at the break, went very wide at the first turn and failed to reach contention. .Overweight — Bafe Cupboard. 3 pounds.
