War Relief Purse No. 2 At Delaware Park Today High Command, Opening Bid Vie As Favorites in Route Offering STANTON, Del., June 14.— Second of the series of six War Relief purses will headline the program at Delaware Park tomorrow, this card being the last which will be offered here until Tuesday due to a lay-off because of Pimlicos Preakness program. The management of the local course graciously offered to shut down to avoid conflict with Pimlico and thus not only afforded patrons of the sport a chance to see the all-star card at the Baltimore course but aided materially in staffing and equipping the Maryland Jockey Club plant for what promises to be one of the biggest days of all times. Six are scheduled to run a mile and three-sixteenths in the War Relief Purse No. 2 with Mrs. Helen Werners Opening Bid and Christiana Stables High Command the likely choices of the crowd. Anthony Massimiano will be represented by Dancing Archie and Mugs Game, while Midnight Ride and Question Miss complete the field. As usual, the winning owner will have the privilege of selecting one of four war relief agencies to which Delaware Park will contribute 0,000. Five distance races out of eight adorn the program and the card probably will give the ; track a good wind-up for the first half or the meeting which runs until July 4.
