I Eaves and Rickard to Ride At Ak-Sar-Ben Meeting OMAHA, Nebr., June 16.— With the renewal of racing at Ak-Sar-Ben, June 19, many old jockeys will swing into action for the first time this year, while other riders will don silks for the first time on a recognized track. Among the apprentices to experience their initial outing shere at the birthplace of many famous and outstanding riders, are Carl Eaves and Cloice Rickard. Eaves is a product of Texas, being reared -on a ranch near Clarksville. He is 17 years of age and rides at 102 pounds. His contract is held by Harry Leader. Cloice Rickard is 28 years old, hails from Burlington Junc- tion, Mo., and rides at 105 pounds. Both 1 boys have had previous experience in I "bush" riding.
