Mountaineer Destroyed ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., June 16.— Wheat-ley Stables Mountaineer, a son of Sir Gal-lahad III. — Matterhorn who broke down in the sixth race yesterday, was humanely destroyed. Several bones in the colts right forefoot were broken.
