AGRONOMIST was much used racing HOME FRONT into defeat, reached the lead in the stretch, but was unable to withstand the winner. DUCHESS MYRNA finished willingly under punishment. PENNY PACKER lacked early speed. EVER ON raced prominently to the final furlong. TIME BOOK was outrun. HOME FRONT tired after making the early pace. GLADAGAL assumed command at once, made the pace to the stretch under pressure from ANLHE, shook off the latter and outlasted PREVARICATOR. The latter went to the outside for the diive and finished with a rush. WILD ADVICE closed fast under urging. LOCAL FINANCE began slowly, went to the inside entering the stretch and finished well. UNDERTOW tired. LOW TENSION was never prominent. ANLHE forced the pace to the stretch. Scratched— Nath, 111. Daily Double on the First and Second Races Paid 25.40— Double Pool, 0,862. OAKMONT finished strongly and had no Mishaps. SEVEN HILLS appeared sore during the post parade, lacked early speed, but closed gamely. IDENTIC was done after three-quarters. SALVO found room ncaring the finish and was up to dispose of WINDMILL in the closing strides. The latter took command when settled for the drive, but was unable to hold the winner. OGHAM went to the front early, saved ground throughout, but faltered in the stretch. OXIE held on well. STROLLING EASY could not improve her position when hard ridden. ONECBILL was outrun. COPYWRIGHT made a good bid near the stretch, but failed to stav. ROYAL FLliSH had early speed. GRIM AND GAY began fast, but could not keep up. SICKLE SIN tired. KEWEY DEE failed to respond when set down for the drive and tired badly near the finish. HAMMER LOCK displayed good speed for a half, then faltered and lost eround steadily thereafter. WINSOME LAD had no excuse. MISWEET was neer prominent. NOWADAYS was done after six furlones. SLENDER LADY was overmatched.
