Seaman 2 C H. D. Walker, Jr. Visiting Parents at Detroit DETROIT, Mich., June 27.— One of the most enthusiastic fans these days at the Fair Grounds is S 2/c Harry D. Walker, Jr., who is visiting here on a 30-day leave with i his mother and father. The elder Walker has a string of horses on the grounds. Young Walker was on the Hazelwood when that ship was hit by a Jap suicide plane. He has been overseas in the South Pacific area for 20 months, having participated in engagements from the Gilbert Island to the Philippines.
