Errard Pulls Up Sore; Taken Out of Training HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 22. — John Marschs Errard, impressive winner of the Crete Handicap here on opening day and who was generally regarded as a warm favorite for the Steger Handicap Saturday, has been taken out of training, it was announced today by his conditioner, Burley Parke. The Chicago four-year-old, according to Parke, was quite sore following a short trial yesterday morning. Future plans for the colt will be determined after X-Rays are studied. Parke also revealed that Free for All, who also shone brightly in the two-year-old ranks in 1944, had failed to respond and has been sent to Coldstream Stud in Kentucky. Free for All may be sold by Owner Marsch for duty in the stud.
