George C. White Stable at Detroit Track FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 22.— George C. White, a regular at the Woodward Avenue track, is back again with a small but useful stable. Diamond Dick, Bright Steel who won at long odds during the recent Churchill Downs meeting, Up Grade, Miss Walker and Masked Dorothy will race here under the red and white silks of Mrs. White. Also included in the White-trained unit is the locally owned Golden Man, who campaigns for George Krehbiel, turf editor of the Detroit News. Golden Man won a division of the Brown Hotel Purse at the Churchill Downs meeting, defeating Shady Brook Farms Du-quesne and Mrs. H. J. Damms Zacapet, among others meeting in the six furlongs sprint.
