Historian May Go West for Hollywood Cup HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 12.— The Woolford Farms Historian, winner of both of the middle-distance stakes at this meeting, the 0,000 added LaSalle Handicap, and the 5,000 added Lincoln Handicap, is among the nominations for the 00,000 Hollywood Gold Cup. Owner Herbert M. Woolf and his young trainer, Eddie Anspach, have not decided whether or not the gelding will be a starter in the mile and one-quarter fixture. Anspach has been toying with the idea of flying the honest campaigner to the Coast for the race, but that, too, is only in the embryo stage. Historian will also be nominated for all the more valuable stakes for older horses at Arlington and Washington Parks.
