Ohio Notes RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, June 14. C. P. Sowers, who races under the name of the Shangrila Stable, has sold the horse Mardi Gras to Mrs. E. D. Ewart and has traded the horse Leading Star for the horse Giant One. Andy Cunningham, who serves as placing judge here, has one of the busiest schedules these days of any one connected with racing. During the day Cunningham is busy at the horse races, and at night he fills the job of director of racing at four of Ohios principal automobile racing tracks. Included in his tracks are the Akron Rubber Bowl Stadium, Bedfords Sportsmans Park Speedway, Columbus State Fair Grounds, and the new Bainbridge Speedway which is located on the site of the old Bainbridge horse track. .Mrs. E. A. Hileman, wife of racing secretary E. A. Hileman, and daughter Rosemary have arrived here from Miami. Mrs. Hileman and Rosemary will stay for the remainder of the meeting here, where Rosemary has taken up the duties of Em-metts secretary. They will then accompany him to Atlantic City, where Emmett fills the post of paddock judge for the Atlantic City Racing Association. J. Richardson sold the horse Leading Star to C. C. Brown today at private terms and in turn purchased Wise Hobby. Jockey F. Scheih returned here from Detroit, where he rode Johns Pride in the Louis Chevrolet Purse. C. P. Sowers, who races under the name of the Shangrila Stable, said today that his assistant trainer P. Weaver has left his employ. Jockey Pat Del Rio arrived from Mexico City and will fill riding engagements throughout the remaining days of the meeting.
