JAMES T CLARK Lincoln Fields offi ¬ cial will open the racingssecretarys office at Washington Park Monday preparatory to the inaugural of the 30 day meeting on May 17 Approve Officials to Serve At Lincoln Fields Meet MeetMcMeekin McMeekin Goodaand Hamilton Will Be inStewards Stand StandA A veteran corps of officials most of whom served at Lincoln Fields meetings in past years and others well known in similar capacities at other Chicago tracks will serve at the Lincoln Fields 30day meeting the list being approved at a meeting of the Illinois Racing Board held here yesterday morning The Lincoln ses ¬ sion embracing 30 racing days will open on May 17 at the Washington Park track trackServing Serving as presiding steward in charge of racing will be Sam H McMeekin who officiates in the same capacity at Churchill JDowns The other track steward will T Te e the youthful Jack G Goode son of the prominent Kentucky trainer William A Hamilton of course will represent the Il ¬ linois Racing Board in the stewards stand standPlacing Placing judges approved for the meeting are Robert P McAuliffe William A Rea ¬ gan and Ray Hoertz while the four patrol judges are George MoleswortrT Thomas A Steele William J Shelley and Vasco Parke James T Clark will be paddock judge Charles J Gormley Jr clerk of trie scales and Floyd Alsbury assistant clerk of the scales The veteran Lawrence C Bogen schutz is the racing secretary and handi capper and Reuben White starter Wil ¬ liam J Cunningham will serve as timer while E A Weidekamp will be director of the mutuel department
