Prepare to Accommodate Buyers at Yearling Sales SalesHousing Housing Situation Still Offers Problem Brochure Being Printed PrintedLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky May 27 The Breed ¬ er Sales Company catalog for the annual summer yearling auctions at Keeneland will not be distributed for about three weeks but several prominent turfmen already have requested accommodations for the July 26 30 vendues These include the California sportsmen Louis Bronstein Jay Paley and The Breeders Sales Company managements of local hostelries are pre ¬ paring to cope with the usual housing situation that attends the auctions Air conditioning is being installed in the La ¬ fayette and Phoenix Hotels where some of the rooms are being converted into suites The company has advertised for rooms in private homes during the sales and for en ¬ tire dwellings and the response has been good according to William Evans of the Breeders Sales Company staff The company is printing a brochure which contains a complete record of racing activities of all thoroughbreds sold in the sale of select yearlings including the first sale in 1944 The 66000 Pericles is in ¬ cluded along with the Derby winners Jet feifift and Hoop JCtTand such pthfFba gains as the 3600 With Pleasure and the 29500 Cosmic Bomb BombBy By the way the shipment of 23 yearlings from French studs that recently arrived at Duntreath Farm are tentatively to be of ¬ fered at the Keeneland Fall Sales
