William Cauffield Dies NEW YORK, N. Y., April 30.— William "Bill" Cauffield died at his Brooklyn, N. Y., home last night following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday night at 8 p. m., at the McManus Funeral Parlors, 2001 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn, and interment will be on Monday in Cypress Hills Cemetery. Cauffield had, for the past 50 years, been an ardent racing enthusiast and witnessed every running of the Suburban Handicap and the Futurity.
