Giants Sell Napoleon Reyes To Jersey City Farm Club NEW YORK, N. Y.. April 29. UP. — Napoleon Reyes, war-time Infielder with the New York- Giants, has been sold to their Jersey City club in the International League, the Giants announced today. Reyes played his last season with the Giants in 1945, then joined the trek to the Mexican League, where he stayed even after baseball commissioner A. B. Chandler returned all border-jumpers to good standing. After managing a club in Mexico last season he Joined the Giants at their Phoenix, Ariz., training camp this spring where he worked out at both first and third base. Reyes batted .288 in 122~games with the Giants in 1945.
