Preakness Candidates Win PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 1. — Four possibilities for the Preakness on May 20 were in action Saturday. S. W. Labrots Arcave was the winner of the fifth event at six furlongs, while Brookmeade Stables Great Admiral was second in the same race. Both are Preakness candidates. In the mile and a sixteenth seventh race, Mrs. W. H. Labrots Balkan was second to Brookmeades Ouija and gave evidence that the longer route of the Preakness will be to his liking. Eastern Flyway, owned by W. T. Leatherbury, was unplaced in the same race.
