DOIT EASY outran the field the first quarter of a mile, saved ground on the turns, came to the middle of the track through the stretch and won galloping. SUPREME MOMENT raced in closest attendance of the leader from the outset, but lacked a closing rally. WISE BRUNETTE moved threateningly along the inside after three furlongs, but was unable to reach serious contention. HYCALL, a slow starter, lost ground when put to pressure. BUSTER HOPE passed tiring horses. VIRGINIA R. W. was unable to keep up. The others were never prominent. JOHNS CHOICE improved the position as the field raced wide entering the stretch and finished with good energy. MY LITTLE MISS in closest atv tendance of the leader soon after the start, tired nearing the end. SNOBILITY lacked a closing rally. KINGFISH came between horses on the turn to finish stoutly. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. FICKLE-MAN assumed command soon after the start, turned back repeated challenges and had enough left to hold SHERRY D. safe. The latter rushed up boldly after a half mile, lost ground on the extreme outside and was unable to reach the winner. M. LONGEINE was quickest to begin, stayed close to the pace throughout, saved ground and held on gamely. I FORGOT weakened after forcing the pace. COPYWRIGHT, never far off the pace, was bothered when his bandages came lose during the stretch run. RING KAY lacked early speed. HOT TIME was unable to keep up. HAMANASA appeared to dislike the footing, saved ground on the final turn, but was never a threat. ESTA VEZ tired from forcing the pace. THIRD DIVISION passed tiring horses. DOREENS BOY-kas kept close to the early pace under steadying restraint, assumed command when roused, drew clear and came out to the middle of the track and lasted to hold ASSASSINATOR safe. The latter set the early pace, saved ground after giving way and was coming again at the end. CHEERMEUP raced well placed after a half mile, but failed to rally when roused. HALBARAIL improved his position gradually, saved ground throughout and was along to outfinish MESMERIZED in the final sixteenth. MESMERIZED was allowed to sprint into a long lead before the half mile, remained along the inside to save ground and held on gamely although tiring near the end. NOSTOC favorably placed, came out slightly through the stretch and was unable to reach the leaders. STEPLOCH made up ground in the late stages. VACANCE had no mishap. SURE GIFT showed nothing. DABSTER was in hand to the final quarter of a mile and failed to make up ground when roused. DUST SCREEN lacked a closing rally. CAPTAIN BOUDOUR tired. TOP HONORS was outrun.
