Capot Is Assigned 130 for Toboggan Pegged Two Over Olympia And Six Above My Request For First Belmont Stake By BOB IIORWOOD JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 1.— Racing secretary-handicapper Jack Campbell has assigned Greentree Stables "Horse of the Year" the top impost of 130 pounds in Saturdays 0,000 Toboggan Handicap, feature of the inaugural program at Belmont Park. Capot has been announced as a definite starter in this six-furlong test on the diagonal Widener course, as well as his stablemate, the Futurity winner. Guillotine, who gets in with 114. Capots burden is scale weight, while Guillotine is five pounds under scale, though he ran the best race of his career on this course in the Futurity last year. F. W. Hoopers Olympia, who is also a probable starter, is second high weight with 128 pounds. King Ranchs Middle-ground, who has another engagement at Churchill Downs on Saturday, is rated even with Olympia on the scale at 117 pounds. Other possibilities for the Toboggan among the higher weights are Ben F. Whitakers My Request, a stakes winner on the Widener course as a juvenile, 124; Addison Stables Arise, 122; King Ranchs Better Self, winner of last Saturdays Gallant Fox Handicap, and Woolford Farms Delegate, who disappointed in that race, also 112 each, and Peter A. Markeys Piet, recent winner for the second year in succession of the Jamaica Handicap, 118. Royal Blood Assigned 114 Among the lighter weights, Maine Chance Farms Royal Blood will start with 114, if the track is fast; C. T. Chenerys Mango-hick, a half-brother to Hill Prince, may also carry that burden, as well as R. M. Smiths Sagittarius, a winner here on Saturday. There is a group of fillies, all speedy, who may also go postward in the Toboggan. They are Nell K., 116; Sweet Dream and Myrtle Charm, 115 each. Nell K. won the Colonial Handicap at Garden State Park on Saturday. Myrtle Charm has been idle more than a year, but is training well and the Maine Chance Farm miss turned in a brilliant effort when winning the Matron Stakes on the Widener two years ago and also was a hard-hitting second to Blue Peter in the 1948 Futurity.
