Derby Day Scratch Time CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 4. — Racing secretary and handicapper Fred Burton calls attention of turfmen to scratch time for the Derby Day program. Withdrawals for the Saturday card will be made on Friday, May 5, at 6:00 p. m. Post time for the first race on Derby Day will be 11:30 a. m. and the big race is scheduled to be run at 4:30 p. m. Burton also stated that some entries for the Derby Day program were taken Thursday afternoon for the convenience of trainers but all entries for the Saturday card will close at 10 a. m. Friday, May 5.
