CHURCHILL DOWNS LADY JOAN — Well made four-year-old filly is training nicely and recently worked five furlongs in 1:01% handily. MR. JOE PUCK — Narrowly beaten by Kalimera in recent start and capable of defeating same class field. JUNE AYR — Useful middle distance performer is in excellent shape and ready for winning trip. OL* SKIPPER — Marsch star gave sharp effort in Clark Handicap and will be hard to beat next out. BIDDY BID — Rough trip through stretch in last local outing and she will do better with even break in racing luck. ONE TWELVE — Maiden two-year-old displayed speed in recent engagements and due for early graduation. EXCITABLE MARY— Partial to the Downs racing strip and raced well in only start at the meeting. MASICO LAD — Hard-hitting gelding comes from well-trained stable and due for early victory. SYNDICATE — Top class horse can hold his own with the best at the middle distances and prefers fast track. BAILONGA — Chilean-bred horse is learning American ways and recently stepped three-quarters in 1:16 handily on slow strip. BILLCELLA — Useful ,000 class plater likes a mile and a sixteenth or over and can handle any type footing. GAY TEMPO — Quick juvenile miss gave good account of herself in only local appearance and is ready for visit to winners ring. BE BRIEF — Displayed speed in recent start behind Hot Chocolate and will improve off that effort. BROWN SMOKE — Two-year-old maiden is in fine shape at present and due for brackets. SWEEP TIGER — Juvenile raced impressively in only start of career and will be right there next out.
