* New Jersey HBPA Election on May 17th GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 10.— Members of the New Jersey division of the HBPA will hold their elections at Garden State Park on May 17. The offices to be filled are the vice-presidency and seats on the committee. M. C. "Happy" Buxton, incumbent vice-president, J. R. Holsey and George S. Howell are the three candidates for the vice-presidency. The committee candidates are: A. F. East, A. C. -Colando, J. W. Camac, O. C. Rasch, Sr., Thomas Kelly, Sidney Jacobs, W. H. Boles, Frank White, J. W. Bowley, H. G. Brooks, M. C. Buxton, Charles Moses, Samuel Lewin, Anthony Mazzeo, C. O. Ferguson, J. Gorman, B. Frank Christmas, E. W. King, H. J. Gorney, Dave Emery, Jack Gunn, J. H. Pierce, Thomas Root, Joseph Carroll, E. E. Russell, W. S. Cotton, J. R. Holsey, A. J. Cochran, G. S. Howell, R. B. Berini, Homer Pardue and J. W. Sceusa. William E. Charles, Jr., secretary-treasurer of the , local HBPA division, announced today that a contribution of ,500 was made by the Garden State Racing Association to the or- f ganizationV benevolent fund.
