CORINNE T., on the inside from the beginning, assumed an early lead, but was briskly handled during the stretch run to hold her advantage. LANDMARK GAL raced well to the stretch, swerved under urging during the final furlong and could not get to the top one. LILS GADGET, away fast, engaged CORINNE T. to the last eighth, then faltered. RENA POP raced evenly and had no mishap. PIXIE PAT could not better his position when set down through the stretch. LITTLE FLAME tired after showing early speed. WAVE-A-LU, on the outside throughout and away sluggishly, could not threaten the leaders. LADY ROWENA was outrun. PENNW0VEN had a rough trip. RE ARENA was never prominent. GOLDEN COUNT was hustled to the front early, established a good lead entering the stretch and was hard ridden during the drive to increase the advantage. GAY SENORITA began fast, raced prominently throughout, but could not get to the winner RED INQUISITOR, away slowly, raced far back to the stretch, then closed fast on the extreme outside BOOTS BEST saved ground throughout and raced evenly without mishap. DATE BOOK raced wide. BELMONT BEAUTY could not keep up after showing early speed. HAPPY ALL was through early. BOSS BROKER showed nothing and was never a serious contender. CAFE SINGER began poorly. HIKES POINT, away fast engaged IMPRESSMENT to the stretch, went to the front when settled for the drive and lasted to hold GRANDMAS DAY. The latter raced evenly for a half mile, came out slightly for the drive and closed fast, but could not overtake the top one. GENIAL JACK, on the outside throughout, finished well in a sharp effort and had no mishap. IMPRESSMENT went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch. under pressure from HIKES POINT, but had nothing left for the drive.- MR. SIG was outrun. LOCK OUT began sluggishly. BOLARIS began fast, raced nearest FERRO FOX after the break, but could not get to the winner when set down through the stretch, just lasting to withstand DOGS UP. The latter saved ground and raced evenly to the stretch, was crowded during the drive when UNITED NATION bore to the inside, then could not threaten the winner. UNITED NATION was in hand early, drifted to the inside when set down through the stretch and tired nearing the finish. ALPHARA lacked early foot and was never dangerous.
