CARMARGO BILL moved up boldly on the outside entering the stretch, disposed of LUTZ GIRL midway of the final furlong and drew clear. LUTZ GIRL held a commanding lead inside the stretch, faltered during the concluding strides and was unable to hold the winner REIGHS COMET finished with good energy on the outside. WHIRLTOWN made up some ground during the stretch run. FINE FETTLE caught tiring horses. TATTENHAM was through early. FRESH BREJZE lacked racing room along the rail when making her stretch bid.
