INDIVIDUATE, in close attendance to the pace, moved to the leader from the inside and drew clear under intermittent pressure. MAKE SWAY set the pace under good rating, drifted out slightly turning into the stretch and was no match. SUPPRESSOR lacked sufficient room while behind MAKE SWAY and on the inside of INDIVIDUATE near the half-mile pole and dropped back steadily. DOUG TURNESA failed to reach prominence. BULL HYDE was outrun. WISE MIKE showed nothing. PERSIAN ROAD loomed a threat midway of the turn and quit. FOUR SHOES, steadied while in close attendance to the pace, wrested command from the outside in the early stretch and drew, clear under continued pressure. GOLDEN FURLONG, a trailer for more than a half mile and slow to respond, closed with good energy, but failed to menace the winner. FOX RUN set the pace under good rating, but was unable to retain his advantage. SILVER AGE saved ground from the start, but flattened but when set down for the drive DOROTHYS MISS showed nothing. LANCER, steadied Just off the paca of ERNIE 0., assumed a clear lead boldly on the final turn and held sway to win handily. ERNIE 0 sprinted clear from his inside position, was no match for the winner, but easily "held the others safe. BELLISAN rallied from far back to outfiriish HOT FOOTED. The latter raced within striking distance, but lacked a rally COGORT showed nothing. MATES BOY was outrun. DR. MERRY SIZZLE sprinted clear early, was not serio.usly threatened and won with speed in reserve. KING WATCH was unable to menace the top one and was going easily at the end. SHREWD lugged in badly and failed to threaten. JUST ABBE failed to reach serious contention and was bothered by SHREWD on the turn. Gonzalez claim of foul was not allowed. NASSOON was unable to keep . up. MOFLAME broke badly. COLUMCILLE flattened out badly following an effort to stay with the early leader. QUESTOR quit to a walk. Overweight— Moflame, 1 pound. The latter raced forwardly and weakened. COVETED and BABS WHEY never were factors. The stewards ordered an investigation; but no action was taken. BRIGHT OMEN saved ground early in her rally, circled the leader and prevailed under pressure. TORCH OF IRAN was much -used to attain a forward position rand disposed of PAS DE CALIS, drew clear along the backstretch and held on gamely when engaged. RISING TEMPER crowded back soon after the start, improved her position nicely, but lacked a closing rally. THERMION failed to threaten. BEST RULE was through early.
