Henry Thomas Honored Today WESTBURY, N. Y., May 24. Henry Thomas will be tendered a press luncheon at Roosevelt Raceway Monday at which time the veteran driver will be presented the Al B. White Trophy, awarded annually to the champion driver at the Westbury track. Thomas topped all drivers in 1951 at Roosevelt with his 32 victories, 24 seconds and 19 thirds in 143 starts for a .3.61 average. John Simpson was second and Jimmy Cruise third. It is the second time Thomas has taken the trophy, having won it in 1948, also. Presentation of the silver cup will be made by Mr. White. In addition to members of the press, executives of Roosevelt Raceway will attend the ceremonies.
