Mat de Cocagne Victorious PARIS, France, June 2 Reuters. — Alec Weisweillers Mat de Cocagne, who is slated to run in the Ascot Gold Cup, won the 1,-200 Grand Prix du Printemps over one and one-half miles at Saint Cloud today. Ridden by Claude JMaire, Mat de Cocagne beat Charles Creuchets Barbizon by two lengths with Pierre Merciers Laurietto two lengths away in third place among the field of 13.
