The latter assumed command early, drifted out badly after the three-eighths pole to the wire and turned in a good effort. SQUARE CUT made up ground from far back. JANE BULL raced with the pace and continued on willingly. BIG MATCH raced evenly. LOUDOUN LASS was outrun. SET ME FREE was through early. DADA improved her position steadily and wore down NO DISGRACE. INDUS, away alertly and eased back, raced wide and closed full of run. NO DISGRACE moved from just off the pace to wrest command nearing the stretch, attained a clear lead briefly and gave way. CONVERT outfinished the others. GINNY GAL flattened out after racing for the lead into the stretch. FENNY POPPERS weakened, as did ELECTED. POMOLA showed nothing.. MARY ANN quit to a walk. The latter was unhurried, challenged from the outside and was not good enough after being carried wide. INANAME saved ground to no avail and weakened. MISS PIDGEON lacked a late spurt. REVEL-ON reached serious contention after five furjongs and continued on gamely to wear down CARIDURO. The latter raced FROLIC into defeat, turned back the challenge of WHIRLAHEAD and just failed to last. WHIRLAHEAD weakened slightly after engaging the. leader in the early stretch. FROLIC pressed the pace, lugged in badly and knocked HIGH DESCENT into CAP-A-PIE near the furlong pole. FROLIC was disqualified. HIGH DESCENT was bothered by his stable-mate. QUENTIN showed nothing. MANY ISLANDS weakened. TIME HONORED quit. CAP-A-PIE unseated his rider when knocked into the fence near the furlong marker. Scratched— 59295 The Slip, 120; 59087 The Teller, 120. HIGH SCUD moved through along the Inside to outrun PINTOR for tle lead rounding the first turn, disposed of that one after five furlongs and steadily increased his advantage to be a galloping winner. PINTOR could not race with HIGH SCUD early and was no match. BRECHIN outfinished the others. KENSINGTON TED and VIENI were overmatched.
