Mara to Replace Ross DETROIT, Mich., June 26.— Vincent P. Mara will replace James Ross, Jr., in the local placing judges stand when the latter official departs Sunday to take over his post as racing secretary-handicapper at Centennial Race Track, Denver, Colo. Mara will serve with judges Hart Dernham and Pat Farrell until Edward Dennison checks in from Delaware Park, then resume his duties with the identification staff.
