Brooks Beds Down Eight Head at Arlington Park ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 5. Trainer George Brooks bedded down an eight-horse public unit at Arlington Park Thursday evening. Included in the group, which came from Louisville, Ky., are Wayne Kendricks three-year-old colt, Pursuance, and Vincent Sheehys Witchery, a two-year-old filly. Pursuance is a candidate for the 55,-000 Arlington Classic July 17. Last year the Carrier Pigeon Persistent colt finished second to Sear O Erin and ahead of Hasty Road in the Prairie State Stakes at Washington Park. Witchery, daughter of Roman Grotesque, is eligible for the four big juvenile stakes 50,000 Arlington and Washing-, ton Park Futurities and the 05,000 Arlington Lassie and Princess Pat. Others under Brooks care are P. Hol-tons Jo Pilot and Alif air, Taurina, Diamond Joe, Rays Surprise and Penaction . , . 1 !
