Good Advance Ticket Sale For Centennial Meeting LITTLETON, Colo., June 16. Advance ticket sales indicate Centennial Race Tracks biggest season at the 50-day meeting opening July 2, according to Operations Manager Eddie Richards who warned prospective boxholders that choice locations are almost sold out. Richards reported that Paddock Club boxes for Centennials fifth season are 80 per cent sold and that only a few grandstand boxes are left, with sales running well ahead of last year. Meanwhile, officials in Centennials racing department announced the schedule of Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Assn. stakes races, and reminded horsemen that second eligibility payments for the Colorado Breeders Stakes are due no later than Tuesday, June 15. The R.M.Q.H.A. Stakes, leading up to the 440 -yard Worlds Championship dash Sept. 11, Centennials closing day, also include the associations Quarter Horse Stallion Stakes Aug. 28, the Quarter Horse Futurity Sept. 4, and Quarter Horse Derby Sept. 6. Along with three stakes races of the Kansas Quarter. Horse Assn., previously announced, they comprise the top offerings for the popular "short horses" that will appear at least once daily on Centennials combined thoroughbred-quarter horse programs.
