TABARINA worked her way up oh the outside to gain a forward position entering the stretch, reached the lead inside the final furlong, drew clear and held HILKA safe. The latter rallied after five furlongs, gained a forward position on the outside and extended the winner LADY DIL rushed boldly along the inside to take the early lead, opened a big advantage down the backstretch. then shortened stride after six furlongs and retired steadily MISS C SUE passed tirina horses. CARYS HOPE had no mishap. RAMPAGEOUS weakened after pursuinn »he leader for a half mile. GAME DAME showed brief speed, then weakened. REAL GONE was outrun. RIVULETTE was unable to keep up. IRISH PRINCE raced close to the leader while saving ground, gained the lead in the last furlong and steadily drew out BULL HALSEY dominated the pace under iight restraint, had something left when challenged on the final turn but weakened in the late stages. CALAMUS moved to enoaoe the leaders but failed and continued on gamely. PAPA FELIX, forwardly placed, lacked a late rally. DUSTLIGHT had no mishap. GAME DAL showed nothing!
