BULL HALSEY raced in close attendance of the pace for a mile, responded to pressure to assume command and withstood a rally from NO SKIS. The latter moved steadily on the outside to reach a contending position on the final turn, rallied under pressure and was extending the winner. OMEN closed with a belated rush too late to menace. COINCIDENT, a factor from the outset, lacked a late rally. PAYUCANO dominated the pace for a mile and weakened. FOLLY MILLS had no mishap. JUDYS RUNNER flattened out. AQUARIUS showed nothing.
